- Past member of the El Paso County Multidisciplinary Team for Sexual Abuse, Child Fatality Review Team, Animal Shelter Advisory Committee, El Paso County Civil Service Commission Board (2010 – 2012).
- Organized, coordinated and taught the “Courtroom Demeanor” course for cadets of the El Paso Police Department (2005 to 2008).
- Conducted orientation for El Paso County Grand Juries nine (9) times per year (2000 to 2008).
- Teach courses for both undergraduate and graduate level students in criminal justice to include Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Criminal Justice Policy Analysis, Ethics in Criminal Justice, Introduction to Criminal Court Systems, and Criminal Court Systems.
